Mark Malinski 's Biography
Mr. Malinski has over 30 years of financial, operating, marketing and P&L experience in varying sized companies, including 15 years as CFO, primarily in publicly traded companies such as Pennzoil Company. He has over 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry.
While at Pennzoil, he was handpicked by J. Hugh Liedtke, Pennzoil’s Chairman and CEO, to lead the analysis of investment alternatives for the proceeds from the Pennzoil vs. Texaco settlement that would qualify for special tax treatment. This ultimately resulted in the purchase of 9.4% of Chevron Corporation. He assisted in the turnaround and led the initial public offering of Purolator Products Company, a Pennzoil subsidiary. He has significant experience with all aspects of large and small acquisitions and divestitures, including IPO and secondary offerings, debt offerings and other financings, up to $1 billion.
Mr. Malinski is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program of Harvard Business School, holds a BS in Accountancy and Management Information Systems from Northern Arizona University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
